Biography
Fernando Borrego earned his first Real Estate License in 1979 at Los Angeles, California. In 1990 he earned his second Real Estate License in Raleigh, North Carolina. Since the acquisition of his first license, he has worked with and learned from some of the industry’s top agents and coaches such as Brian Buffini, Walter Sanford, and Tom Hopkins to enhance his understanding of the market and all aspects of real estate.
Having lived in Central Florida since 2004, Fernando has also earned his Real Estate License in Orlando, Florida and sells residential and commercial properties in Orlando, Winter Park, Winter Springs, Oviedo, Casselberry and the surrounding areas.
Specializing in traditional sales, short and foreclosure sales (also known as distressed sales); his multi-faceted expertise is of great benefit to his clients.
Fernando truly understands the dynamics of the greater Orlando real estate market and is an expert at educating his clients so they can make the best decisions for their needs. He enjoys taking a direct, hands on approach with his clients and is well supported by his superb office support staff and team at Exit Real Estate Results.

Fernando Understands that the purchase of a home is often the largest purchase a person will make in their life time. He believes REALTORS® have an obligation to be well educated to provide the level of service and protection his client’s deserve. He is constantly furthering his knowledge in the areas of selling and listing, negotiations, contracts, and investing. He has also earned the designations of Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE), Graduate, Realtor Institute, (GRI), and most recently, the GKC (Gold Key Certification).
Success in this business takes hard work and Fernando has had the honor of earning several awards throughout his career including Exit Realty’s Excellence and Hustle awards and has been recognized in the Exit Florida Report as a top agent in pending contracts.
Fernando is a member in good standing of the Local Association of REALTORS (ORRA), Florida Association of REALTORS (FAR), and the National Association of REALTORS (NAR) in addition to the Orlando Multiple Listing Service (MLS).
Fernando feels that being a REALTOR® is about more than joining professional associations, he believes REALTORS® should be involved in the communities where they work as well. He has served his community in many capacities from feeding the homeless to donating to the Child’s Cancer Recovery Fund. He and Exit Realty also support Habitat for Humanity and to date they have donated over $2 million to the charity and built more than 15 habitat homes.
